Re-entry visas (再入国許可)are required for all visa holders. You can get it at the immigration office, located at the Dai-ni Godochosa in Kumamoto city, near Kumamoto Gakuen University and the Prefectural Theatre. A map is given below.

The cost for a single entry visa is 3,000 yen, and a multiple re-entry visa is 6,000 yen.
