The terminus of the densha line takes you to Piacres, a covered shopping area, which extends to the left, and to Jietai mae dori (Self Defense force base road). Around Piacres shopping road, there are a lot of snacks and bars for people living on the east side of town. Jietai mae dori also boasts of a large number of cherry trees and the road is closed to cars during the weekends of cherry blossom viewing. There's a Mr. Donut and a scattering of shops.
