From Kuma-i
Kagoshima is locate in southernmost in Kyusyu. Kagoshima is made up of Satsuma peninsula and Osumi peninsula and some isolated islands. In the isolated islands, there is Yakushima, it's famous as World Heritage Site. Satsuma peninsula is located in west and Osumi peninsula is located in east. There is Sakurajima between Satsuma peninsula and Osumi peninsula.
- Kagoshima Aquarium~Io World~

- Amu Plaza Kagoshima
Amu Plaza Kagoshima is the department store and places next to the Kagoshima Central station. The building has the first basement and six floors, and very unique point is that the top of the building has Ferris wheel! The Ferris wheel is very special because there are a lot of gondolas, and two of them are see through. If you want to take it, it is very easy because the lines are divided. - Kirishima Shrine
The shrine sacred to "Ninigi no mikoto" who is written in Kojiki. The building was built in the 6 century. At first it was at the top of the Takachiho peak, but fire often broke out because of eruptting Mt. Kirishima. Because of this the shrine was moved again and again, and in 1484, it was moved out at the present place. The present building was built in 1715 by Yoshitaka Shimazu. - Rose Park in Kanoya
The Park is Kanoya Rose Park and the area is about 8 hectares, and there are about 4,000 kinds of roses in there. The park was divided by 11 sections, the hothouse, the garden stage, mansion of roses, the rose park in all over the world, the miniature garden, the royal garden, the rose chapel, the smell garden, the color garden, the fairy garden, and the citizen garden. All of seasons, you can see roses, but the admission is different. In April to July and October to December, it costs 600 yen for adult. However in August to September and February to March, the admission is 300 yen for adult. The admission during best season for roses is higher than the other months. It opens 9:00 to 18:00 in April to July, and 9:00 to 17:00 in August March. If you go to there, maybe you can feel good because the park looks like fairyland as Cinderella and Snow White! - JMSDF Museum in Kanoya
This is the museum in Kanoya aeronautic base, and there are many historical materials at inside and planes at outside. These planes retired at JMSDF. I never went to the museum, but I saw the building many times, because my father lives near here. I really love sky and planes, so I am very exciteed when I saw the museum. If you are interested in the building, please visit there. The museum is the biggest facility which you can see the history of JMSDF.JSMDF Museum

- Sakura Sakura Onsen
The onsen is in kirishima and near from Kirishima Shrine. It has really good mud spa, so the mud makes your skin sleeker and more beautiful. The spa also has the very delicios food which are made from local ingredients. The stand has a lot of folkcraft which is dying cherry tree. The onsen is little smaller, but its atmosphere is excellent. It costs 500 yen for the day trip. Sakura sakura onsen
- Kirishima Kokusai Hotel

- Saraku
The onsen is kind of suna buro in Ibusuki. This is very famous in Ibusuki, Kagoshima, so a lot of suna buro are in there. At first you change your clothes to yukata and go to the beach. There are many places you can lie. The sand is really hot and the best time to lie on there is about 10 minutes. After that you take bath and wash your body. It takes 900 yen, but if you don't have your towel, you can buy a towel by 100 yen. Saraku
- Kirishima Iwasaki Hotel
The hotel has the onsen called "Hayashida onsen" and you can take the bath for a fay trip. The facility has a variety of onsen, and very unique one is mist sauna bath. There are a lot of onsen at outside, and the view is really good. You can enjoy the bath with great mood. It costs 800 yen fo adult, and the half of the price is for child. - Wakimoto(grilled meat shop)
Wakimoto is a grilled meat shop in Kirishima, Kagoshima. The shop opens 11:30 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 23:00. Usually when you hear yakinikuya, maybe you imagine beef, but the famous menu in the shop is pork because pork is very special food in Kagoshima. Also the shop has another unique point which is that the sauce is made by black vinegar!:) The sauce is very rare, I think. Because of the special sauce, the meat taste become plain. The shop has many variety of sweets which are made from sweet potatos. The home office is in Kanoya, Kagoshima, but it has a lot of chain stores in Japan, so you can get the items in Kumamoto, too. The home office in Kanoya opens AM 9：00～PM 8：00. Most shop are gift shop, but some shop has the restaurant, so you can eat what you like in the shop. Festivalo

The shop is syabusyabu shop, and there are a lot of shops in Japan, and Kagoshima has 4 shops, Kagoshima city, Kokubu city, Tenmonkan, and Amu Plaza. Amu Plaza shop is very convenient because it places next to Kagoshima Central Station. The shop opens 11:00 to 23:00, and lunch time is from 11:00 to 16:00. - Tarumizu
This is the service area in Tarumizu. The service area is really wonderful because the facility is really good and has a "ashi yu"(kind of onsen for only leg). Tarumizu is along the sea, so you can see the beautiful sky, ocean, and Sakurazima which is really popular in Kagoshima. Because of this maybe you can feel refreshed during your driving!! Also there are a lot of delicious food, too. The shop has many kinds of folkcraft, and speciality, including Satsuma age, fish, meat, and pickle. I really recommend the ice cream in here! This is the service area in Sakura jima. You can find the shop very easy after taking a ferry. There are a lot of things and we can buy them. There are many specialities made by volcanic ashes, and of course, there are many fresh vegetables, too.
