Their water spring about 60 tons per minute. It run to the Shirakawa river and Ariake sea. So it is not too say it is source of Kumamoto. Of course, it is chosen as the best water in Japan from the office of en vironment.

It is also chosen as the best water in Japan from the office of environment. It located in Uto. This spring is keeping the facility of waterworks since from the age of Edo. In addition, there is a musium of todoroki spring.I like this spring very much and I recommend this spring place.Because my granmother's house is very near from there, so I often went to there when I was a child.
